Dear Lupus Supporters,
It is no surprise that COVID-19 has profoundly impacted non-profits and communities and the Lupus Foundation of So. Arizona is no exception. We continue to work on finding new and innovative ways to navigate the effects of the pandemic.
While we continue to host our fundraisers in a safe, and in the case of the walk, virtual format, fundraising and the loss of funders and corporate sponsors has been a huge challenge. Nevertheless, the Lupus Foundation remains stable and will continue to provide support and services to our members.
In our efforts to contain costs and focus our fundraising dollars towards these much needed services, we have made the decision to not provide t-shirts at this year’s annual Walk the Loop for Lupus. We apologize to those of you who look forward to the annual walk t-shirt.
We will have t-shirts from last year’s walk on site this Saturday, April 17th. Please come by and pick up a shirt! The virtual walk will be be hosted at Barrio Charro located at 3699 N Campbell Ave from 8:00 – 10:00am.
We appreciate your understanding! Your support is critical to the Lupus Foundation of So. Arizona and like you, we hope to walk in person together in 2022.
Regards,
LFSA Board
